Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart started her modeling career in California. The beginning of her acting career came in 1996, when she was a character in the TV film Her Costly Affair. She struggled to get the role she wanted for her in Starship Troopers. It was at first was difficult for her to switch from modelling to acting. This is because most models aren't good actors. And they are usually assigned small and insignificant parts. Amy was determined to succeed and eventually she was offered bigger roles beginning in The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy was finally recognized for her efforts throughout the previous decade. Amy was in several big movies within the Crank trilogy opposite Jason Statham. And she was also a regular character in the Shameless series.
