Anna Silk was the first child of Peter Silk (an academic) and Ilkay Silk (a writer, actor, director, producer and professor at St. Thomas University). Anna was born in Fredericton and is the daughter of the couple Peter Silk and Ilkay Silk. Her mother is an "English-Turkish Cypriot expat" that is originally from Britain. Anna remembers attending performances for her productions as a young girl as well as watching her mother working. At the beginning of her career Anna was a part of a variety of television commercials. Anna relocated out of Toronto to Los Angeles in 1999. Seth Cooperman was introduced to Anna in Los Angeles at an acting training workshop held in 2007. The couple got engaged in 2009. Anna was a convert to the Jewish faith at the age of 11, after having converted to Judaism. The couple was weddings in the month of December that year and then renewed their vows at a Jewish ceremony held in Fredericton, in April 2011. Bo and Lauren's love story (played Zoie Palmer by Bo) is featured on CNN's most-loved TV couples list. They also were named by E! as the top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television.
