Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin, a Canadian-New Zealander actor. Paquin is a native of Canada and actress from New Zealand. Born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington She was the first actress to appear as a character in The Piano. In this romance film, at the age of 11 years old, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin full name Anna Helene Paquin was born on July 24 in 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian-born New Zealand actor who won the Academy Award as a youngster for Best Supporting Actress for playing the enthusiastic and curious child of Holly Hunter's main part on the film The Piano. As a result of an audition Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter of a Scottish pianist. Flora McGrath is the daughter of the mute Scottish musician who came into New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. When she was a teenager, her family moved from Canada and eventually to United States. Paquin had a small part in the film's title role when she was still a kid in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and she was a leading character in the movie Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams in a 1997 film adaptation for television of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding and also played a part in the role of Queen Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (1997). She played teenage girls in of Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000), A Walk on the Moon (2000) and played in the role of character of the polexia Aphrodisa girl on the screen in Almost Famous (2000).
