Welker is engaged to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck at Philadelphia and the couple has two kids. They began having an affair. John, John's husband is a year older than him. Due to their relationship being so prosperous, they chose to take the next stage. They were was married on the 4th of March 2017. They were married in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.
