Walker was born in 1976 in Pennsylvania, Philadelphia. Walker is an American born with African American roots. She is the daughter of Harvey Welker, a Native American father and Julie Welker, an African American Mother. Her mother is an agent in real estate while her father holds a degree in engineering. Walker graduated from Germantown Friends School located in Philadelphia's Germantown district in 1994. When she graduated of Harvard College in 1998, she enrolled at Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker has been married for over 20 years with John Hughes who is a prominent marketing director for Merck Philadelphia. The couple have two children. They began to have an affair with one other. John her husband has an age difference of four years compared to her. They were enjoying their relationship and they decided to continue their relationship. They were was married on the 4th of March 2017. Their wedding ceremony took place in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. The Hyatt Hotel they had a big enormous wedding.
